It's on....AGAIN! Last year's NYE party was so much fun we're doing it again....same format...the tables are gone, the gold disco ball is polished and Santas delivered us our new soundsystem stacks early…..plus musically this year we’re excited to have secured the man, the myth that is RICHARD SEN who will be playing alongside our resident HEMLIN and Filly Brook / Leng / Spacetalk head honcho, SIMON PURNELL. It's gonna be more fun than our little wooden shed can handle.
Richard's musical history is DEEEEEEP, 30 years+ in the game and spanning multiple genres. We first hosted Richard when he was Bronx Dogs back in the early 2000's at one of the first club nights we ever put on at Fluid in Farringdon. Since then he's gained huge respect as Padded Cell and more recently as host on the Do You Radio Show with Charlie Bones. He is certainly a dj's dj and has all those unfamiliar gems in his bag that catch you unawares alongside knowing exactly when to drop a NYC house classic. So much so that his recent "Dream The Dream" release out on Ransom Note Records just won 2023 best compilation at the DJ Mag Best Of British Awards this week. Top Effort!
Expect some of the finest Disco, House and late night dark chugging grooves on this planet.
Supporting on the night is the hugely capable HEMLIN who you may have had the pleasure of hearing play at Filly through the year. Part of the Common Ground Collective which represents some serious dance floor and selector heat Dem holds down a residency with ourselves as well as shows on Netil and Voices Radio. Not one to miss a chance of getting on the decks Filly Brook head honcho Simon will also be assisting proceedings for the evening, selecting from the best dancefloor heaters of the Filly Brook year.
There’ll be no food, no table reservations and no daytime opening….however there will be a dance floor, all the drink selections you’re used to + a few specials, a solid musical line up and a 2am license….PROPER. The fun starts at 8pm, come join us!
